Future Farmers of America (FFA)

The FFA is a national youth organization with over 500,000 members and 7,000 chapters in all 50 United States, Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands. The Future Farmers of America was formed in 1928 as a vocational agriculture training program. The FFA Mission is to make a positive difference in the lives of students by developing their potential for premier leadership, personal growth and career success through agricultural education.

Saint Jeanne de Lestonnac Catholic High School is proud to be one of four Catholic High Schools in the nation and the only high school in Temecula to offer a FFA Charter. The FFA is a school-based agricultural educational program featuring three components.

  1. Classroom and laboratory instruction this is contextual, inquiry-based, and interactive.
  2. FFA and organizations such as PAS and NYFEA that help members develop leadership, personal growth, and career success.
  3. Supervised agricultural experience (SAE) programs that allow members to apply knowledge and skills through experiential, service, and work-based learning opportunities.

FFA (Future Farmers of America) Jackets and Uniforms Saint Jeanne de Lestonnac Catholic High School supports the FFA Charter. Students who are members of the FFA may wear their official FFA Jacket on casual days. Additionally, students may wear the official FFA uniform on their meeting days or at special events. The official FFA manual specifies the uniform requirements
