The Torero promise is a guaranteed admissions program being offered to students enrolled in the Dioceses of San Diego and San Bernardino high schools.
To be eligible for the Torero Promise, a student must:
Achieve a weighted, recalculated grade point average of 3.7 by the end of their junior year (USD recalculates a grade point average based on courses in English, Math, Science, Social Science, Foreign Language and Religion. Weighted values are given for Honors, AP and IB course work).
Have taken and successfully completed at least three academic classes at the Honors, AP or IB level by the end of their junior year.
Have no disciplinary record during high school.
