St. Jeanne de Lestonnac Catholic High School provides a one-to-one laptop learning environment to give students consistent, at-the ready digital access throughout the day and at home, to allow teachers to take full advantage of the unique resources provided by online educational resources, and to incorporate technology into every course to produce students who are technologically skilled and literate, making technological literacy and 21st century skills a priority.

 

Laptops

A laptop is provided and required daily of all students attending Saint Jeanne de Lestonnac Catholic High School. Students will use the device across all disciplines for multiple purposes, including e-book textbooks, electronic Bible, curriculum-related apps, daily planner, presentations, web-related research, language labs, science lab instrumentation, data analysis, math problem solving, note taking, quizzes, test taking composition, video production, and much, much more.

 

Students are responsible for the care of the device within and outside the school grounds. If the device is damaged (beyond the scope of responsible wear) or lost the student’s parents will be charged $750 to replace the device and $50 for a lost or damaged charger. The student device fee per school year is $350.00, payable all up front or $35.00 a month added to monthly tuition. (A case is provided with lap top and lap top must always be kept in case.)

 

Students are provided PC/Microsoft Windows enabled laptops.
